Thanks to Pazona Productions [Terry Rich and Frank Cody of Galisteo] for their video production of this recording of Deborah's talk in 2019!

The season's theme, Under the Influences, was also represented in our 2019 lectures and workshop.

Lucy Lippard, Jean Anaya Moya, Deborah Madison, and Holly Myers presented their work and the various influences that had informed their writing, thinking, and craft.

Lucy Lippard spoke in June on how artists had served as primary influences in what she chose to write. Deborah Madison spoke to those writers and purveyors of food, and its production had helped shape her work. Jean Anaya Moya led a full-day workshop teaching the traditional craft of straw applique. Holly Myers read from her latest book, Wild Rough Country, and framed its verse with personal narratives shaping her images and words.
