An experiment with herbs, spices, and condiments that resulted in a delightful sauce that we named Dobe sauce, and so, when this is poured over a chopped beef patty, a Dobeburger results.
1.5 pounds fresh ground round steak
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Worcesstershire sauce
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
1 generous dash of savory
1/2 cup catsup
1 sprinkle each of garlic salt and celery salt
Form ground round into 6 patties and broil to desired doneness. Mix all other ingredients together to make a smooth sauce.
Serve over cooked patties on toasted, buttered buns.
